Raising a small child means answering a lot of questions, but sometimes parents have to figure out what the question was in the first place. That's everyday life for Paul and his little son Angus in “Daddy Daze,” a comic strip created by cartoonist John Kovaleski.

Angus mostly communicates with variations of “Ba ba ba,” leaving his dad to interpret what he really means. The series follows Paul, a single father who shares custody of Angus with his ex-wife while balancing working from home and raising a child.

Kovaleski drew on his own experiences as a first-time father, turning the everyday challenges of parenting into clever, often absurd conversations between a dad and his young son.
