Anne Hathaway’s career may be on fire, but her mouth won’t be anytime soon if her doctor has anything to do with it.

The pregnant actor said her doctor advised her that she may go into labor early if she did “Hot Ones, during her press tour for Colleen Hoover’s screen adaptation of “Verity.”

Hathaway revealed in an episode of the “Talk of the Townsends” podcast Monday that she was advised against going on the YouTube interview series, in which celebrities are asked questions as they eat increasingly hot and spicy chicken wings.

“We did the first three wings for real, and then I switched to dummy wings. And then I thought that I was gonna be able to do the ‘Hot Ones’ challenge to do press for this film because it just made sense,” Hathaway shared. “But then I got pregnant, and my doctor said I couldn’t do it because I might go into early labor.”

Hathaway made the comments while on a press junket for the film, her fifth this year. The Academy Award-winning actor has starred in some of this year’s biggest hits, including “The Devil Wears Prada 2” and “The Odyssey.”

“Hot Ones,” created by Sean Evans, has been on YouTube since 2015 and has hosted Hollywood stars, including Jennifer Lawrence, Lorde and Keke Palmer. The series has been spoofed on “Saturday Night Live” twice.

“I still haven’t done the gauntlet yet,” Hathaway said. “I’m not sure when that’s gonna happen. Maybe next year.”

Hathaway is married to actor, producer and jewelry designer Adam Shulman. They have two young sons.
