Madeline Miller is the author of the sensational The Song of Achilles, which was awarded the 2012 Orange Prize for Fiction, Circe (which won the Indies Choice Best Adult Fiction of the Year Award and was shortlisted for the 2019 Women’s Prize for Fiction) and short story Galatea. She has taught and tutored Latin, Greek, and Shakespeare to high school students for over fifteen years.

Madeline Miller will be in conversation with Ann Patchett, internationally bestselling author of Tom Lake, The Dutch House, Bel Canto, and owner of Parnassus Books. Her most recent novel Whistler was published earlier this year.

EVENT DETAILS:

• This livestreaming event will air on Waterstones YouTube page on Tuesday, September 29 at 2 PM ET / 1 PM CT / 12 PM MT / 11 AM PT. It will not air on the Eventbrite site.
• A ticket purchase is required to attend.
• A link to access the event will be sent to the email that you used for ticket purchase. Attendees will receive the link for viewing the broadcast a few days before the event. Please be sure your correct email is listed when you purchase, as the viewing link will be sent to you via email on the day of the event.
