Fiona Lowe, the daughter of actor Chad Lowe and producer Kim Painter, has died, the family announced.

She was 13.

“We are deeply heartbroken by the loss of our beloved Fiona,” the Lowe family said in a statement posted Wednesday to the Instagram stories of her sister, Mabel Lowe.

The family remembered Fiona as “a loving young girl who was smart, creative, and loved to dance.”

The statement added: “She was adored by her sisters and she was deeply loved by her parents. In fact, she was the light of our lives.”

Fiona Lowe’s cause of death was not announced. People was the first outlet to obtain the family statement.

Born on Nov. 16, 2012, Fiona Lowe was the second of Chad Lowe and Kim Painter’s three daughters.

One of his most recent posts of Fiona Lowe featured her on her 13th birthday.

“Celebrating Fiona officially becoming a teen today!!” Chad Lowe wrote in the caption. “Keep dancing through life FiBear! Love you soooo much!!”
