Since President Trump first proposed the installation of a monumental new arch in Washington, critics have argued it would detract from another important site nearby: Arlington National Cemetery, the nation’s largest military cemetery, which sits just across a nearby bridge.
But a new analysis by The Washington Post has found that the arch would, quite literally, cast a shadow over the hallowed burial ground.
