The best early October Prime Day vacuum deals

Dyson’s most affordable cordless vacuum, the V8 is perfect for cleaning small areas, like the kitchen or bathroom, rather than your whole home. It has a runtime of 30 minutes and comes with a crevice attachment, for cleaning around furniture. It also works as a handheld vacuum for cleaning raised areas.

One of the most popular upright vacuums available, the Shark Navigator works on both carpet and hardwood floors. It comes with crevice and upholstery attachments, which make cleaning dust and pet hair on furniture easy. The pod on top detaches so you can clean raised areas around your home.

This cordless vacuum Shark works on multiple floors types, including carpet and hard surfaces. It has a runtime of 70 minutes and easily cleans debris from the floor thanks to having two brushrolls. Plus, it works as a handheld vacuum and comes with a crevice attachment and an upholstery brush which is particularly great for cleaning hair from furniture and carpet.

This vacuum has a runtime of an hour and does the work of a vacuum and mop, so you can use it to clean things like spilled beverages, food, dust, pet hair, dirt and much more. After cleaning hard surfaces with water and cleaning solution, it uses heat to dry the roller bar. It has 180-degree flat reach and slide technology that makes it easy to clean under low furniture. You can also control its settings and monitor cleaning from an app on your phone.

One of the most affordable vacuums on this list, the Levoit cordless vacuum includes a crevice attachment and an upholstery brush. It also works as a handheld vacuum, making it easy to clean furniture, shelves, windowsills and stairs. It has a runtime of up to 50 minutes in eco mode and also works while lying flat, so you can clean under furniture.

This popular vacuum has everything you need in a great upright model. It comes with an upholstery brush attachment and a crevice tool. It’s also only around 8 pounds, so it’s lightweight compared to your average upright vacuum and easy to move from room to room. It works on both carpet and hard floors and it has a 23-foot power cable, which makes it easy to maneuver around any room.

The Bissell CleanView is an under-$100 (and now on sale!) upright vacuum that comes with a crevice attachment and two brush tools, for cleaning upholstery. It works on carpet and hardwood floors and has a dustbin capacity of 2 liters, which means fewer emptying trips. The turbo brush attachment is made for cleaning things like pet hair from upholstery and carpet.

This corded vacuum from Shark is suitable for cleaning all types of floors, including carpet and surfaces like wood and tile. It has an auto-detect feature, which adjusts its cleaning style based on the floor type. It also cleans going both forward and back, and it comes with crevice and upholstery attachments. It also works as a handheld vacuum for reaching windowsills, counters and other elevated or hard-to-reach areas.

This cleaner is sort of like a mop made just for carpets. It sucks up debris and dirt like a vacuum, but it also washes your carpet with water, cleaning solution and multiple brushes that rotate to move dirt. It also includes multiple handheld upholstery attachments, so you can clean areas like upholstered stairs and armchairs.

The first robot vacuum I’ve had and tested was from Eufy, and it was easy to set up and affordable compared to other popular models. This particular appliance works with an app, and you can set it to clean your home on a set schedule. It’s a mix of a vacuum and a mop, so it cleans up debris, and also sprays clean water to clean up hard floors. It also has self-emptying and self-drying (for the mop roller) features, which means less work for you.

The Black+Decker Dustbuster Reveal handheld vacuum includes a crevice tool (for cleaning windowframes, furniture and more) and has a built-in LED light, which makes it easier to see dust and debris. Great for cleaning furniture or cars, the vacuum has a runtime of around 16 minutes. It also has a brush attached to it for picking up things like dust and pet hair.
