A Sydney man has been charged after allegedly restraining, choking and sexually assaulting a young woman in a park, Australian Associated Press reports.

A 23-year-old woman was walking from Flemington Station through Airey Park in Homebush, in Sydney’s west, around 11.15pm on Friday 18 September when she was stopped by a man not known to her, police say.
