BEVERLY HILLS, CA—Assuring viewers that all the characters on the Apple TV show still loved them very much, Ted Lasso producers released a statement Wednesday warning fans that the show was going “bye-bye” for a bit. “Just like all you busy boys and girls, sometimes Ted Lasso gets tired and needs to rest,” said series co-creator Bill Lawrence, who spoke in a soft and slow voice as he explained to the show’s fans that they would see all their favorite on-screen friends again very soon, but they’d have to practice their patience skills. “It’s okay to have big feelings about saying bye-bye to Ted Lasso. Remember that you can always rewatch old episodes any time you want to see all your buddies like Coach Beard and Roy again. Just make sure you ask a grown-up or someone else who knows how to use the remote control for help.” Lawrence went on to suggest that fans could always play Ted Lasso with a friend whenever they were really missing the show.
