Just days after the White House dismissed a viral image featuring Natalie Harp and Donald Trump in an intimate hug as fake, the longtime Trump aide has given her first interview.
But when Harp was asked about her own career, age, and life in the White House, much of her response turned into an enthusiastic defense of her boss, with her answers drawing attention for how closely they echoed Trump’s own style.
And it wasn’t the only eyebrow-raising part of the unusual questionnaire.
In recent months, Natalie’s close relationship with Trump has also drawn increasing scrutiny, particularly after Trump reportedly told staffers that she would “never leave” him.

Natalie Harp was featured in the Washingtonian magazine, which selected her for its October issue list of the region’s “300 Most Powerful Women.”
In an interview with the outlet published on September 24, when asked whether being a woman in her 30s had been an obstacle or an asset to her professional success, Harp initially responded simply: “Age is just a number.”
But she quickly shifted the focus to Donald Trump, praising what she called his “rare gift of seeing something in people that perhaps they don’t see in themselves.”
She said, “Throughout his career, the President has never compartmentalized people into their demographics, but rather has the rare gift of seeing something in people that perhaps they don’t see in themselves, male or female, young or old, and then bringing those gifts into focus.”
Natalie then pointed to his Cabinet, writing that its “diversity in skill, talent, and backgrounds” creates a “dynamic unit” that has secured “unprecedented WINS for the American People.”
The response stood out because a question about Harp’s own experience as a young woman largely became an assessment of Trump’s leadership.

Several media outlets also noted that the capitalization and tone of her emailed responses might remind readers of Trump’s Truth Social posts.
The unusual tone continued when Harp was asked about the hardest part of working in the White House.
“Washington, D.C., does not work at the speed of ‘TRUMP!’” she wrote, adding that the country has only four years to “MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN.”
Natalie then complained that the “sense of urgency” was absent from too many people in Washington while “the Radical Left” was trying to slow the momentum Trump was building toward what she called the “Golden Age of America.”
She ended the response by praising Trump for continuing to act “as quickly as possible” and delivering what she described as “Historic Results” for the country and the world.
Harp was also asked how she manages the stress of a demanding job involving long hours and frequent travel.
Natalie’s unwavering loyalty reportedly made her one of Trump’s closest confidantes inside the White House
Her answer did not focus on exercise, hobbies, or time away from work.
Instead, she wrote, “Since the epicenter of ‘power’ is not Washington, D.C., but Heaven,” she starts each morning by listening to several chapters of the Bible on audiobook and praying for wisdom and strength.
The capitalization, punctuation, and phrasing drew particular attention because Harp is also known to help Trump with his social-media activity.
Natalie also praised White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles and Christian advocate Joni Eareckson Tada as role models, describing both women in terms of perseverance and strength.

The Washingtonian questionnaire was published as Harp was already facing intense media attention over her role as one of Trump’s closest aides.
She has been nicknamed the “Human Printer” because she is allegedly known for accompanying the president with a portable printer and battery pack, allowing her to immediately hand him printed copies of news articles, social media posts, and online reactions throughout the day.

The interview came amid scrutiny after a viral image appeared to show Trump embracing and kissing a blonde woman on a golf course, with many netizens identifying the woman as Harp.
The White House responded briefly to the controversy, calling the image “clearly a fake photo.”
Politicians have also discussed her closeness to Trump.
Georgia Senator Jon Ossoff recently accused Trump of preferring to “travel with Natalie” rather than focus on his presidential duties.
The 80-year-old politician responded by mocking Ossoff’s appearance during an Oval Office meeting.
Previously, reports described alleged personal letters Natalie wrote to Trump, including one in which she called him her “Guardian and Protector” and wrote, “You are all that matters to me.”
Reports that Trump told his staffers Harp “was the only one who loved him as much as his wife and his kids,” before adding, “She’ll never leave me,” also emerged in August this year.
