Have you ever tried yawning at someone just to see if they’d yawn back? Well, photographer Goran Anastasovski has taken this little experiment to a whole different level, and his subjects are a bit more impressive than your average friend or family member.

For years, Goran has been photographing animals at Skopje Zoo, and along the way, he discovered a rather unusual trick: if he starts yawning at the animals, some of them start yawning too! The technique seems to work particularly well with big cats, including lions, tigers, leopards, and black panthers.

The result? A collection of hilarious and expressive wildlife portraits featuring some very sleepy-looking big cats. And no, these aren't AI-generated images. They're real moments captured by Goran, who found a pretty funny way to get his subjects to open wide.
